KW's Color Inspiration 16

I participated in another of Kristina's color inspiration challenges. This was probably the most simplest card I ever made. I try not to stress over any challenge because it's supposed to be fun. So once I got the layout out in my mind, I just went with it. I embossed the card with the Cuttlebug swiss dots folder. I used the Cuttlebug flower die and DCWV card stock for the flowers and leaves and then I added a strip of Offray ribbon to the top of the card. For the scalloped edge, I used my Fiskars template to trace the scallops and then cut out the shape on both the front and back of the card.

Gina K SC123 challenge

These card sketch challenges are fun! It helps me improve on my card making skills and coming up with various color schemes and to try new techniques.

The card sketch is here at Gina's blog.

Color Challenge

I had a chance to participate in the color challenge here. This was very challenging trying to use all the colors but I'm happy to have complete this card.
